On the design
Forty-two dwellings above a public arcade, stitching a severed dock back into the walkable grain of the harbour district.
The section was drawn before the plan. We began with the ground — its slope, its light, and the horizon it framed — and let the building settle into that reading rather than impose a shape on it.
A short material palette, detailed in the studio down to every junction, carries the whole scheme: board-marked concrete, oak, and glass, meeting without trim and left to age honestly.
